  HI List,

  Above problem corrected as is my low compression numbers on the newly rebuilt 
engine.  Here's what it was:

  POOR COMPRESSION:  Re-timed the cam.  Now numbers are 150
  BREAK-UP AT 4500 (actually was 3800 RPM):  The K&N Mini Plenum 
  I installed on the HD8 SU for a ram air effect, actually was restricting air 
flow and I was bogging down with fuel at throttle (3800 RPM).

  Anyway, now I'm very happy with the Supercharger installation and the 6 is 
very fast. 

  I ended up using a velocity stack instead of the K&N Mini Plenum (made for 
Weber DGV's) with a short rubber 90 degree elbow attached to a 5 1/2" inch long 
K&N cone filter tucked between the HD8 SU and the fender.
