While installing my 20 over pistons I had this misfortune of breaking a top
ring. The ring compressor hung up somehow and
it snipped off 3/8" . They are AE, the question is can you buy 1 ring or 6 top
rings or is a whole set the only choice?
Last question I installed standard thrust washers and got a .007" Spec is
.006-.008" so right in the middle,
but would it not be better to install one .005" over and file it down .002"
for a total of.004"
I am coming from a .017" engine and being too picky maybe?
