Hello all, This sure sounds like a vapor lock problem. Try insulating the fuel line. But ... I had a problem like this for a while. The cause was worn distributor bushings. When things were cooled off, the distributor shaft had no wobble, but once the motor warmed up, it could move away from its center point, causing the points to never open correctly.
