I will be installing a cam with the same profile as the Piper 270 street performance cam. The machine shop says my valve springs are fine, the cam grinder says use Triumphtune springs. This is not an engine that will be exerted by any means. What is the best way to go? Interestingly, I had a burnt exhaust valve, the seat in the head was hardened, the guide was good, leads me to believe the spring could have binded? Cliff |
