while replacing my hazard switch (btw if you break
this switch none of your turn signals will work), I
disconnected the tach cable and noticed that it was
coated with a very sticky substance that I would
assume was a lube of some type at some time. My
question is should tach cables /speedo cable be
lubricated when installed or installed dry. Am I
correct when I install them dry?
I also have to replace the Angle drive for the speedo
since this substance provided too much resistance for
it.
