Hmmm. The description one usually hears of sailing is "Standing fully
clothed in a cold shower tearing up $100 bills".
For Triumphs I suppose it could be "Lying fully clothed on one's back in a
shower of cold oil and rust tearing up $100 bills"

Excuse me while I laugh hysterically. I always like to use the mantra "but
there's nothing like driving my Triumph" while I'm forking over huge wads
of dough to various folks. :-) I guess in my case, it's safe to say "it's
a disease".
I'm doing another motor for the race car. Think about this: 12 stainless
steel forged valves == $396. I still have to machine them, do a valve job
and install some seats and valve guides. This head will come in a bit over
your $1500 budget. I won't talk about the rest of the motor.
