Graham,
In a stock engine the spring coils do not bind at an additional .100"
valve opening. A combination of a high lift cam, "and" high ratio roller
rockers could definitely pose a problem.

Roller rocker install had to be delayed; unfortunately , or
fortunately,
two broken valve springs were discovered by Jim Swarthout, luckly ,
Mike
Lunsford came by with a couple of used springs to keep me on the road.
New springs to be ordered shortly.
Story continued.
