TR6: Location of distributor clamp

I took my distributor out to rebuild it and now that I'm ready to install
it, I cannot remember which way the clamp goes.  There are two possible
holes for the attachment screw (which one do you use?). I cannot find any
pictures in any of my books about this.  I have taken two pictures of the
possible orientations (links below).  Which one is correct?
