Dum Dum?

I'd like to get some information from persons who have used Dum Dum around
the rear fenders. I'm working on the rear of my car now and was wondering if
I should plan on using this later. Roger Williams seems to think highly of
it in his book but I don't think I've ever seen it used in a restoration.
I'm planning to have the car panels painted separately if that makes any
difference.
