I read Corey Sherman's comments about the carpet set he got from TRF, Charles
Runyon's response and Al Graffam's comment that they should discuss it off of
the net. I basically agree with Al except that since it was brought up on the
net by Corey I think TRF has a right ot respond in the same forum. FWIW I
learned something, as someone else remarked it sounds like TRF makes correct
reproductions of the original carpets and (perhaps) John Skinner provides a
premium grade that was not available when these cars were originally
manufactured. Mine have faded badly since my frame off restoration in 1995 so
this information may be useful to me in making a decision about where to get a
replacement set.
Mike Lunsford, 1970 TR6 Sapphire blue with Shadow Blue carpet.
