I agree that the Ansa looks one of the best of all exhausts, (having had it
on my TR6 from 1986 until 2002). However I have to tell you that it has the
most irritating drone at 3000 rpm. Any long distance is really a PITA as you
slowly go deaf or fall asleep while driving. It is a real slow cruising
exhaust designed to impress the sidewalk crowd. The drone fades out above
3400 rpm, but at 3000... deafening.
I fitted the Falcon twin stainless sport (bought from Moss). So far very
nice indeed. Louder than stock, but not too and no resonance at all. I can
actually have a conversation at highway speed.
