Thanks for your work Don. This may have been answered before, but how
long from order to receipt in the States?

Subject: Gunst bearing shipping
I was not clear.
Shipping for 1 to 6 bearings is the same price $28.00. If we get 6
bearings, shipping is $4.66 each. If we get 1 bearing shipping is $28.00
each.
Shipping for 6 to 13 bearings is $36.00. So if we get 13 bearings
shipping is $2.76 each. If we get 7 bearings the shipping is $5.14 each.
My guess is there are weight plateaus. We want to get as many as will
just max out a plateau. If we get 6 it's $4.66 each. If we get 7 it's
$5.14 each. We want to get 6 or 13 -- just max out the plateau.
If we get 10 or more we'll get 5% off.
I think we should try for 10 - 13 to get the 5% off, and the best
shipping break. If we get more than 13, I'll have to ask him again -- I
don't know what the next weight plateau is.
Shipping for 10 will be $3.60 each.
Bottom line to me is that we don't want to order from him individually
and each pay $28.00 shipping. We should order a bunch together.
I think we'll end up ordering as many as we can. I don't think we want
to tell the guy who put us over a weight plateau, that we want him to
order direct and pay $28.00 just so we don't have to pay $1.00 extra
each -- or whatever. If it's a $1.00 one way or the other -- who cares.
The bearing kit is $90.00 plus shipping.
Also there will be some shipping cost from me to each of you --
Hmmm...about $20.00 each :-) just kidding. I don't know how much they
weigh. Anyone know? I'll probably go USPS. Maybe Nelson knows. Whatever
it costs me -- no more. I'm doing this so you guys will "want" to answer
all my questions :-).
