Two quick questions concerning the trailing arms:
1) Is it prudent to use loc-tite (red or blue) on the studs holding the half
shafts to the arms (the end of the stud that threads into the arm, not the
nyloc nut end)?
2) What is the consensus of the list concerning the position of the pivot
bolt on the inner arm bracket? Originally, they were positioned with the nut
towards the outer bracket. This meant that the bolt had to be withdrawn
towards the centerline of the car, an impossible task given the frame is in
the way. Any reason not to reverse the position of the bolt so that it can
be removed without removing the bracket and shims?
