Craig-I had the same problem about 2 years. The key requires fiddling to turn
sometimes. I sort of solved the problem by removing the anti- torque strap
that locks the steering. My reasoning was I could always hot wire the
ignition to get home if the key wouldn't turn. Probably not the best
solution, but worked for me and I use other means to deter theft.. I think
the cause of the problem is wear in the lock . I have never liked the
location of switch and am tempted to mount it on the dash, like the early
cars. I notice that our comm. nos are quite close.
