The rubber hose going to the radiator started to leak slightly. Also it looks somewhat swollen. I installed a new hose about three years ago. Also, I noted that the radiator cap never appears to allow liquid or hot gas to escape to the bottle. Therefore it appears the hoses and the air in the system appear to compensate for the thermal expansion of the cooling water. My question: Is this the normal operation mode, or is the radiator cap to tight? Pim Pimento 73 |
