On my 1971, the seat frame is pre-drilled with a plain hole (non-threaded) as a mounting point for the fastener. The hardware is a special peg, which connects to the lift-the-dot fastener, and is secured with a lock washer and nut. Part 552669 T36M57 PEG, LIFT-THE-DOT, B/T corey.sherman@rcn.com |
