When I put triple Webers on my TR6, I needed to go to a "single" choke
cable. I found that the choke cable from a Spitfire 1500 fit perfectly (and
the choke know matched the size/shape of the other TR6 knobs).
Hope this helps,

Subject: SU carb conversion/choke cable
List:
Today I had installed a set of new SU HS6 carbs and linkage on my '69 TR6.
The original air filter canister doesn't match up as planned so K&N tapered
filters will be added next week. Gone are the vacuum leaks and rough idle.
I need to replace the dual choke cable to a single cable setup. Only the
front carb has a choke connection. Does anyone have a suggestion for
replacement?
I'd also like to fabricate some clamps to support the fuel lines on the carb
side of the engine. I know there are a few 6Pack members who've converted
to SU carbs. Any fuel line suggestions would be appreciated.
The power band is much broader now with new carbs. I'll try and post some
digtal pics this weekend.
Thanks,
