Subject: So, I'm sitting around procrastinating and...
I'm thinking of the things I need to fix or look at on my car before
next month's SE VTR which is about six hours away. A new episode of
Band of Brothers is coming on HBO and the premiere of NYPD Blue both
come on tonight. But, the VTR is six hours away and my O/D went on the
fritz a couple of weeks ago. I'm really not looking forward to tearing
my interior apart again, but I know the shows will be recorded and I
decide to "start" taking things apart and see where it takes me.
Well, one bolt leads to another and the next thing I know my passenger
seat is out so I continue with the dash support until I'm looking at a
transmission. Hmm, that wire next to the solenoid is not plugged into
anything. Nah, that couldn't be it. too easy. Plug it in and check the
O/D - No clicks. Hmm, the other end of the wire isn't connected to
anything either. Plug it in and CLICK, CLICK - solenoid and relay.
Man, I'm happy!!!
Well, the night is early and I've successfully solved one major issue.
Wonder what I can tinker with now?
