Yesterday was the 19th Annual Conclave in Arvada (a suburb of Denver).
It is an all British vehicle show, mostly cars and bikes but in the past
there was a Fox vehicle (light armor transport used by the British
Military) as well. I don't know the final count to the cars that were on
the field but would comfortably say over 500. They were running out of
room to park cars. Some of the other Rocky Mountain Triumph Club members
that are lurking might have a better count. Mike Cline, if your
listening, chime in here. :-)
I caravaned down to the show with 18 other cars from the Fort Collins/
Loveland area. It was a beautiful day with no clouds and temps that were
in the low forties at 6:30A.M. as we were driving south, then topping
out in the mid eighties. I don't normally advocate getting up before
dawn, but cruising down backroads, with the sun coming up, very little
traffic, and the roar of that straight six in the crisp morning air is
entirely awesome.
Here is a link to the photos I snapped with my little digital while I
was walking around and socializing. I did so much of that I actually
forgot to take photos of most things that I wanted to.
There are 31 photos here, in index form again. Enjoy...

Oh yeah, I suppose that I should also mention, this show is entirely
peoples choice awards. And even though I didn't park with the other
TR6's ( I always park with a club I helped found, the British Motoring
Club of Northern Colorado, a multi marque club), I'm proud to say that
my TR6 won best in class for the show. I have to say I was both
surprised and thankful.
