Ted Schumacher (sp?) at TS Imported has some very stiff springs that
don't appreciably alter ride height but have dramatically improved the
handling on CF38690.
I put the stiffer springs up front with the uprated springs from TRF on
back. That was in 1994, so springs being offered may have changed since
then. I installed urethane bushings all around at the same time and the
understeer that was present was eliminated without any twitchiness from
the rear. I also run 215/70-15s, and I believe you have to look at the
total package, even for just aggressive street driving. Uprated springs
and bushings aren't going to be a great benefit if you're still plowing
around on 185-15 redlines.

I second the motion on Goodparts/TRF competition springs. The difference
in the cars handling was dramatic & I personally don't think the ride
suffered except for suspension travel. Add uprated bushings and better
shocks up front with tube shock conversion in the rear & your
approaching the handling of a real current day sports car.
