List,
I just got back from the Mid Ohio driving school today...what an experience!
I can say I REALLY missed my TR6 in the autocross portion of the day, but I was
really happy I opted for the school car for the solid hour of on track lapping.
The RSX type S was much better prepared for the track that my car would have
been (I don't think my brake pads would have put up with more than one lap
around the track). Maybe some day I will have enough disposable income to go
SCCA road racing, but for now, I learned a couple things that should help the
autocross times. I couldn't believe the rush I got from driving at speed on the
"big track"....and for thoes of you who know my previous driving history at Mid
Ohio, NO I didn't spin out this time :). I would recomend a driving school like
this for anyone out there who has an interest in driving, but I would also say;
If you are going to subject your LBC to the stresses of a racetrack, make sure
everything is perfect before you push it...
3 more days untill the 6 gets parked while I head off to school
