What's the condition of the carb gaskets? Carefully spray carbcleaner around
the gasket area and see if the engine speeds up, if so, you have an air
leak.
Have you checked your fuel filter?
Did the car always behave this way or did it start doing this after you
changed something? Don't assume that 'new' parts are healthy... they could
be defective.
