Walt---The cure for the intermittant horn beeping when turning the
steering wheel, I found, is replacing the horn slip ring. There is also
a temporary fix for this, that usually works for a while, at least. You
can loosen the pinch bolt that secures the universal joint to the top
splined shaft, up by the fire wall. When the pinch bolt is loose, lever
the shaft up about 1/16". You will see the steering wheel move towards
the driver the same amount. If you move it too far, the horn won't work
at all. Test as you go.
