Jamie,
Just thinking out loud here...... When I did my suspension I initially had
the wrong shocks (new -- from a Moss distributor) and they would allow the
suspension to drop too low when there was no weight on the wheels ie. it would
allow the upper A-arms to lay on the frame. Make sure that your suspension is
not dropping too low, and bottoming the ball joint. If the angle at the ball
joint becomes too great, it may not allow the ball (which is firmly fastened to
the verticla link) to turn, thus making the link feel very stiff.
Just a possibility, hope it helps.
