Bruce,
    I completely rebuilt a pair of 73 seats to replace my 71s. IMO, the
later style look better but I found my older style high backs were more
comfortable even with their disintegrating foam and broken diaphrams. I'm
told the older style are more of a challenge to rebuild and some of the
strapping is NLA. You can get leather for the older style if you're so
inclined (or is that reclined).
    As for the arm rest - the ones from the GT6 fit nicely. There's no
storage and you have to fight the passenger for it but they are dirt cheap
at least for the onses covered with dirt). I had often thought if someone
started making ones like the old Amco consoles they could sell an armload of
'em.
