Graham---All I can tell you is that on my original equipment '73 gas cap, (the kind with a latch, not a magnet) the filler assembly must turned for the cap to open side to side. If it is turned to open fore and aft, the trunk lid will strike the filler plate as it's opened to the catch position. Dick |
