Bob,
I just had a friend's Lucas (GM style) alternator rebuilt at Bo's in
Whitman MA. It was either 80 or 90 bucks and included the diode trio,
regulator, cleaning, paint, bearings etc. I think he also has Lucas
alternators on the shelf.
