John---Molykote is a medium viscosity black grease that gets its color from what looks like graphite, or lead. (They don't tell you) The can I have is a few years old, and is white and blue in color, tho that might not mean anything. It is made by "ALPHA-MOLYKOTE CORP." They are based in Stamford, Conn., according to the label. There may be other lubricants just as good. I just happen to like this stuff, because it doesn't sling off and is super slippery. Dick T. |
