Two interior questions

How does one get the small triangular pieces out of the car next to the
doors?  All the reading and diagrams I've looked at just show them 'out'.
Also the covering on mine are pretty ragged due to the seat latches rubbing
against them for 25 years.

I don't need a yard of Beige '74' trim, does anyone have any extra pieces
laying around they like to sell I can recover these triangular pieces with?
