While we're on the subject of shipping -- I've noticed a bunch of hard tops
sold on e-bay and always wondered how those were shipped. I've been thinking
of selling mine and wondering how shipping could be arranged.

I bought one (autopower SCCA legal bar) from TRF a few years back. TRF
stuck an address label on it and sent it regular UPS. I happened to be
home when the bar was delivered, most of the plastic wrap was gone and
there were some scratches on the paint.
I have no idea if the "rules of shipping" have changed since then (that
was '99).
I recall thinking that the bar would come via "truck frieght", but at that
time UPS would delver them.
