My 1970 TR6 (VINCC54438L) came with lap belts only, not shoulder belts as Rob
Lange indicated. I am reasonably certain that this is the way they came from
the factory since no one in his right mind would retrofit shoulder belts to lap
belts. I am currently in the process of converting to shoulder belts
(christmas gift from my son) and have discovered that this requires drilling
and reenforcing the new holes (not previously there) in the wheel well.
In regard to the aluminum vs rubber/urethane steering rack mounts my vote is
for the aluminum mounts. I assume that the rubber bushing mounts were to
reduce noise and vibration however I have not noticed any increase in either
since I installed the aluminum mounts over a year ago. Just my .02 worth on
these subjects and, as everyone knows, "you get what you pay for"
