Through a local auto glass shop (Triumph of course...)I ordered and
had fitted to my 4 1/4" round bullet mirror, a modern convex mirror to
increase the field of view. We started with a blank from a Plmouth
Volare and the shop ground the blank to fit perfectly in the frame.

I also increased the aim adjustment by removing about 1/4" from the
inside of the mirror frame. Tip: duct tape the chrome mirror exposed
surfaces to avoid scratches or scuffing while fitting/filing/grinding
the mirror frame.

The problem is that in order to gain enough adjustment travel for
proper driver view it exposes an opening on the opposite side which
allows moisture to enter the mount(apply clear silicone?).

I really enjoyed the added view while driving to OK on the interstates
for TRials 2001.
