Hi Seth, can you please elaborate on what "way off" means? I thought the
original color was pretty dark and then over time it lightened up to the
shade most of the still original dashes now have. I have been told by folks
who know wood that English (or French) walnut lightens over time with
exposure to sun light. So how does the RF dash compare with the original
shade (as seen in old TR6 brochures for example)? I assume your friend
wasn't expecting the new dash to look like a 25 year old dash (?).
