Peter---In looking at an old cam plate, it appears that it could be shimmed forward, if the alignment of the two sprockets calls for this. The shims between the front plate and the cam plate would have to be limited to under the bolt heads, so as to not interfere with cam rotation. (Probably better than double gasketing the front plate) Dick |
