Kyle---If you can get a torque of 100lb. on this bolt it probably won't go anywhere. It might be necessary use a counter acting force to hold the pulley extension when trying to tighten this bolt. A pipe wrench will work, if you don't mind some teeth marks. If the engine is out of the car, there are flywheel locks that will hold the crankshaft when doing such chores. You can find these locks at good auto parts stores. I also use the Blue Loctite on the pulley bolt threads. Dick T. '73 |
