radiator

This weekend I'm going to take out the radiator - to flush it,
straighten out the cooling fins and paint it. Also going to install
some new green hoses. My question - when painting the radiator (I have
black radiator paint from Eastwood), is it correct to paint the cooling 
fins or should I just paint the frame? The paint is supposedly thinner
than other paints and it can withstand high temps (<250 deg).
