Dan, that was how I did mine with the exception of the exhaust. IM lucky enough to have a lift in my garage at home so I didn't worry about the exhaust. Make sure you get your brake line fittings tight. I made the mistake of not snuging them down good enough and had a leak, now they are a real pain to get to in some areas.
