Front Rack

Thank for the input.  Another question has popped up.  Peter brought up the 
point about the steering damper plug on the left side of the rack.  The hole is 
there but when I disassembled and cleaned the rack, there was no plug in the 
hole.  There was something that may have been scotch tape covering the hole.  I 
assumed this was there to keep any dirt out.  The solid mount kit does not 
include any sort of plug or cap.  Any ideas about what to do?
