Gary,

I do not have a drawing but I think I can describe it to you pretty well.
You have the end cap machined to accept two thrust washers for a full 360
degrees of thrust washer.  You install pins that keep the washers from
rotating.  They do not keep them from falling out but they would have to be
pretty worn to fall out once pinned.  You would have all kinds of problems
before they fell out into your oil pan.  Herman Van Den Ackker did mine and
he does an excellent job.  I am sure there are more machine shops out there
that can do it.

Never tried this but when discussing my dilemma with several club
members, this topic came up and one guy was interested in the details.
Does Kyle have a drawing he can share with us?
