Hi Shane, just pricked my ears up to the K&N Airfilter message. Are you
refering to carbs or Lucas injection on 2.5 engine. If injection I'd be
interested to know any part no's you have for the K&N to suit and if you
fit these directly to throttle body throat or within the original
canister that feeds all 6 injection intakes via the common air intake
plenum.
Thanks for any info

Subject: Re: replace entire aifilter unit
The K&N filters work really well, and give the intake
induction sound a really sharp snarl above 4,500 rpm.
I've heard it described as "sounding like ripping canvas".
This high-frequency component really enrichens (IMHO) the sound
of the exhaust which is predominantly lower frequencies.
However, you will have to richen the mixture; the K&Ns flow
a lot more air than the paper-element filters. This simple mod
alone will enable a healthy motor to pull cleanly all the way
to 6,000 rpm.
Cheers,
