Corey-Order a new heater control valve, they are a frequent fail item. In the mean time, remove the old valve and plug the opening with a 3/8"( I think) pipe plug. Also, plug the hose with a piece of 1/2" rod or what ever. After you replace the valve, put these plugs in your carry along tool box as cheap insurance for the next heater control valve failure.
