Jim---Try the soldering on of the tab or wire, as you thought might work. If not successful, horn buttons about the size of a doorbell button can be purchased from major auto parts store. I installed one on the floorboard of an old pickup truck, under the carpet by my left foot rest. (This arrangement left both arms free to turn the turn the heavy wheel AND toot the horn on this sucker) You can wire it straight to the horn relay. DT |
