Find someone with a TIG welder, my Tigger can layout a flat, or even a
slightly surpressed bead, the control, and cleanliness is far superior.

I hand build an equal length header for the TR, and before I let him weld up
the joints, I had him practice till he could control the penetration, or
beading on the inside, for a non turbulent environment.
Even doing 20 - 22 guage, you don't have to worry about penetration, only
your surface beading.....
