Jim Sometimes when you add the high voltage coil it contains a ballast resistor. Add that to the ballast resistor in the wiring harness and it can cause some problems. Try running a wire from the White Wire terminal at the fuse block to the coil in lieu of the wire from the harness. That will bypass one of the ballast resistors.
