Kevin---Rocker spacers can be made, if not purchased. Ask your friend if that's the direction he really wants to go, as raising the pedestals to accommodate the pushrods can severely change the angle in which the rocker pads make contact with the valve stems. (Huge side loads unless roller rockers are used) I trust this came about from milling the head? Shorter push rods can get this valve/rocker pad geometry back to 'normal', and give longer life to the valve guides. Dick Taylor '73 |
