Peter, I used Rustoleum gloss black (not hi-temp) on my head when I rebuilt 
my engine 4 years ago, and it has held up fine with no problems at 
all...still looks new.  My engine has only about 4500 miles on it since then, 
but I don't forsee any problems with it.  IMHO I don't think it will make any 
difference whether you use their hi-temp or not.  Whether you use the hi-temp 
or not, it's a really good paint.
