Doug; My '74 had rust at the trailing arms too and I cut them out, jigged them and welded in new trailing arms (Moss or TRF). The Moss trailing arms I got only had spot welds which I beefed-up to be more solid. Unless you have more rust-through than just the trailing arms, replacing the entire frame seems pretty drastic to me. I also replaced the outer and inner sills and their end caps (but not the floor boards) on both sides, also due to rust. Not such a big deal once you have a solid/true frame. Dave CF25194U |
