I haven't done any of this myself but I have heard that powder coating is an
excellent paint method for suspension pieces because it is very tough. But
recently I read in Grassroots Motorsports magazine that they had their
suspension pieces ceramic coated. I believe the cost is similar and there is a
small but reasonable choice of colors (including "chrome" and black).
Both of those sound good for parts that you don't touch, I think you would want
a smooth finish on your top frame and I have no idea what kind of finish these
coatings leave.

Subject: paint type
Hi Everybody
I have just sent my six to the body shop and am now working on fixing up
all the old parts. I was wondering what type of paint would i use for the
suspension pieces and also the top frame? Thanx in advance
