Listers---A little more on the timing comparison--A couple off-line
messages came in asking "how to take the timing on #6 cylinder." It's
just like when you check the timing with the pickup on #1 spark plug
wire. Note where the timing mark is using #1, then move the pickup to #6
spark plug wire while doing nothing else. See where the timing pointer
is at now. As before, I'm interested to see if there's any difference
between distributors using "points" vs. other types of switches, as
with optical or magnetic sensors, like the Pertronic.
