John---Part of your question was ...are the lines all metric from the
calipers to the rear wheel cylinders...You didn't say which year TR6 you
had, so I'll just pass on what Mr. Bentley has to say on the subject.
"On early models, the brake pipe nuts, hose ends, and brake bleed screws
have UNF threads. Until the end of 1973, brake parts with metric threads
were colored black. Parts with UNF threads were colored silver or gold.
>From Jan. 1974 the parts with metric treads were colored gold."
This should help to ID what type of threads you have.
